Aliens and Aromas: A Block-Wide Sniff Marathon in Nashville
Today, the humans packed us up for a tour of Nashville, Tennessee, and our very first destination was the Nashville Farmers Market.
Now, listen to me: I’ve been to my fair share of local produce stands and community markets over the years. I know what a farmers market smells like. But this place? WOW.
It was absolutely massive—easily the size of a full city block, with most of the vendors set up under a huge covered pavilion. The air was thick with the scent of fresh-picked peaches, crisp apples, earthy soil, and ripe tomatoes. Honestly, all those fresh, vibrant smells had my mouth watering from the second we walked in.
The UFO Incident & New Pals
It wasn't just fruits and vegetables, either. They had huge displays of colorful flowering plants, local crafts, and... some very unexpected market guests. Right there in the middle of the market, we stumbled across a UFO surrounded by several green aliens! Patches immediately went into full investigation mode, but once we realized they were just fun decorations, we went back to our main mission: socializing.
We had the chance to meet so many incredible four-legged friends out for their morning walks. Between greeting every dog in sight and taking in thousands of new scents, Patches and I had our noses completely worn out by the time we loaded back into the truck.
